The Masam demining project in Yemen was able to remove more than 3,200 Houthi mines.
Masam said that the demining teams removed a total of 3,240 explosive materials from the remnants of the Houthi group, during the period (1 - 13) September. /September 2024.
He pointed out that the materials he removed varied between 3,141 unexploded ordnance, 69 anti-tank mines, 18 other anti-personnel mines, and 12 explosive devices, pointing out that the total amount of what was cleared during the same period was 540,282 square meters.
/>According to a statement, the total that the project removed from the beginning of its work in June 2018 until September 13 of this year amounted to 460,951 landmines, unexploded ordnance, and explosive devices.
