His Excellency Mr. Muhammad Ali Yasser, Governor of Al-Mahra Governorate, met today in his office with the Director General of Nishtun Port, Mr. Saeed Asad Kris, and his deputy, Nokhda Muslim Al-Sulaimi, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Mr. Salem Abdullah Nemer.

During the meeting, they discussed the importance of activating Nishtun Port, stimulating commercial activity there, preparing it to attract merchants and investors, and providing the necessary facilities to restore commercial activity in the port.

 Governor Bin Yasser briefed the Nishtun Port Administration on the port’s most important needs and the difficulties facing work, stressing the local authority’s continued support for the port due to its importance in enhancing economic and commercial activity in the governorate. 

The meeting was attended by brothers Fares Omar Abdullah Al-Sulaimi, Finance Director at Nishtun Port, and Youssef Muhammad Nemer, Head of the Revenue Department at the port.
