In his comment on the incident where an infant was found thrown in a garbage barrel, Brigadier General Fadl Al-Naqeeb, Director of Al-Mualla Police, said that a suspect had been arrested, and that investigations were underway to uncover the circumstances of the case.

This comes after a newborn baby was found on Saturday morning, September 14, wrapped in a plastic bag and thrown inside a garbage bin in the Saudi Project area in Al-Mualla District in the capital, Aden.

Eyewitnesses reported that citizens noticed the child and informed the security authorities, who immediately rushed to the site. The local authorities began an investigation to reveal the details of the incident and identify those responsible.
