This Thursday morning, Al-Shu'la High School in Habeel Jabr District, Radfan, Lahj Governorate, held a ceremony honoring the top students for the 2023/2024 academic year, with the participation of the Director General of the Directorate, Mr. Fikri Muhammad Saleh.
The ceremony began with verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a welcome speech from the school administration, then a speech from the general director, and a speech from the education representative, which included poetry passages presented by the student Radwan Muhammad Haitham, and another poetic participation from the student Ammar Nabil Sayel.
At the end of the ceremony, a certificate of appreciation was presented to the sponsor of the ceremony, Ali Saleh Al-Matari, in appreciation of his great efforts in supporting education. The top students who excelled in high school were also honored amid an atmosphere of joy among those present.
On the sidelines of the ceremony, the Director General of the Directorate announced the establishment of the “Outstanding Achievers Association” in the Directorate, and supported it with an initial sum, with Brother Ali Saleh appointed as its financial officer, with the aim of encouraging the Outstanding Achievers and supporting them to compete in the next stage.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Hassan Naji, Secretary-General of the Local Council, Mr. Rashad Al-Hujaili, Director of the Directorate’s Examinations Department, Mr. Abdul-Bari Al-Jahafi, Chairman of the Center’s Transitional Council, the social figure Ali Saleh Al-Matari, sponsor of the ceremony, Mr. Abdul Majeed Laouj, member of the local leadership in the directorate’s transition, and Mr. Giab Al-Matari, Director High school, and Mr. Nasr Saif, representative of the Parents Council, in addition to a large number of students’ parents and social and educational figures.
