Units of our southern armed forces stationed in the Qarin sector northwest of Al-Musaymir Al-Hawasheb in Lahj Governorate, this morning, thwarted an infiltration of the terrorist Houthi militias towards their advanced positions east of the Mawiyah District, inflicting heavy losses on them in lives and equipment.

A military source confirmed to the media center of the Al-Hawasheb axis that a number of Houthi militia members were killed or wounded after units from the security belt in the Al-Musaimeer sector, led by the intrepid commander Muhammad Ali Al-Hawshabi, may God protect him, and with the support of the Southern Joint, were able to target their gatherings during their attempts to carry out infiltration operations. Towards the positions of our forces in Qarin, while two soldiers from the heroes of the Southern Armed Forces were injured during this confrontation.

The source indicated that the terrorist Houthi militias then attempted to launch an intensive bombardment with mortar artillery in order to remove and withdraw their members, so that their sources of fire were targeted with direct bombardment, which silenced them. The bodies of their members are still lying on the battlefield at the moment of writing this news.

These developments come amid intermittent confrontations and exchanges of artillery shells and medium weapons over the past days in various combat sectors on the fronts northwest of Al-Musaimeer Al-Hawasheb.
