Professor Dr. Al-Khader Nasser Laswar, President of the University of Aden, inaugurated the ceremony, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Aqeel Al-Attas, Vice President of the University for Student Affairs.
Today morning, the differentiation exams for admission to the preparatory year of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, for the academic year (2024/2025) for the preparatory year students, in which (1952) male and female students are seated.
During the inauguration process, the President of the University of Aden, Professor Dr. Al-Khader Nasser Lasour, said that the differentiation exams for the preparatory year come as an extension of the university’s journey that it began years ago, as the ideal way to select male and female students wishing to enroll in medical colleges.
The university president praised the efforts made by the faculty members and assistant teaching staff, and their steadfastness and eagerness to perform their duties towards the educational process, despite all the suffering they are experiencing.
Explaining that the university has achieved a qualitative leap at the level of Yemeni universities by achieving further development in the fields of science and practical application to contribute to the graduation of a cadre that meets the local, regional and international labor market, wishing its male and female students success at this stage, appreciating the great role of the Public Affairs Prosecution. Students and the General Administration of Admission and Registration who played a major role in overcoming all difficulties to make the examination process a success at the University of Aden.
The President of the University of Aden, Professor Dr. Al-Khader Nasser Laswar, accompanied by his Deputy for Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Muhammad Aqeel Al-Attas, the General Registrar of the University, Dr. Radwan Aqeel, and the Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Abdul Hakim Al-Tamimi, toured the examination halls. To review the level of equipment, organization, and student discipline in the halls.
The Vice President of the University of Aden for Student Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Aqeel Al-Attas, confirmed that the university witnessed a remarkable expansion during this year in its creation of a number of scientific specializations in some colleges, calling on students to adhere to the university’s controls and regulations to achieve the principle of differentiation in accordance with well-known academic standards and conditions. He explained that the university is very honored to receive new students in various colleges and academic centres, and expressed his great thanks and appreciation to the university president for his great care and direct supervision to launch this process in a manner worthy of the university’s reputation and long history.
For his part, the General Registrar of the University of Aden, Dr. Radwan Aqeel, indicated that the examination process took place in a streamlined and smooth manner after the students and invigilators were distributed to the examination halls, according to the published lists. He therefore set a timetable for the comparison examinations that was prepared, published and circulated, stressing that The comparison exams on the first day at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences went very well, and provided a suitable atmosphere for the students.
Prof. Dr. Abdul Hakim Al-Tamimi, Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, praised the efforts of the University President, Prof. Dr. Al-Khader Nasser Lasur, the University Vice President for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Aqeel Al-Attas, and the University Registrar, Dr. Radwan Muhammad Salem Aqeel, for their great efforts and coordination. Participating with the college in organizing processes and creating all conditions aimed at making this process a success and achieving honorable results for students.
