The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center inaugurated the distribution of date aid in the Al-Wadi and Desert districts of Hadhramaut Governorate, in cooperation with the Yemeni Development Network for NGOs,
During the inauguration, which was held in Wadi Al-Ain and Hoora District, in the presence of the Supervisor of the Coordinating Unit for the Works of the King Salman Relief Center in Hadhramaut Governorate, Mr. Abdulaziz Bawazir, Mr. Salem bin Abadin Bawazeer, Director General of the Hoora and Wadi Al-Ain District, praised the generous support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the King’s Centre. Salman Relief, noting that these projects contribute to alleviating the suffering of the needy and displaced people in various governorates of Yemen. He also stressed the commitment of the local authority to provide all necessary facilities to ensure the success of such humanitarian projects.
For his part, the representative of the Al-Namaa Network explained that the project targets the most needy groups, including poor families, orphans, and people with special needs in the Hoora and Wadi Al-Ain districts, where 3,104 cartons of dates will be distributed.
The inauguration was attended by the Director General of the Yemeni Development Network for NGOs in Wadi Hadhramaut, Mr. Mubarak bin Shihab, the Executive Director of the Amal Foundation for Development, Sami Awaid, and the Relations and Projects Officer at the Amal Foundation for Development, Nadia Al-Fakhry.
