This morning - the Governor of Shabwa Governorate, Chairman of the Local Council, Awad Muhammad bin Al-Wazir, inaugurated the opening of the computer laboratory equipment at the College of Computers at Shabwa University, as part of a project to support education in the governorate funded by our brothers in the United Arab Emirates.
During the inauguration, Governor Bin Al-Wazir stressed the continued interest and care of the local authority for the education sector in the governorate, noting the importance of providing infrastructure that enhances the level and quality of the educational process at its various stages, directed by adopting a solar energy system for the College of Computers at Shabwa University.
Governor Bin Al-Wazir also renewed his appreciation, on behalf of the local authority, for the generous and continuous support provided by the brothers in the United Arab Emirates to the people of Shabwa Governorate in various service aspects, pointing out that this support comes within the framework of supporting the efforts of the local authority to improve the services provided and strive Towards achieving sustainable development.
The project submitted to the College of Computers, which was implemented by Capital Security Solutions, Computers and Networks, included the supply and installation of an integrated computer laboratory containing modern technical equipment, making it the first modern laboratory at the governorate level.
In turn, Dr. Salem Al-Shiyouhi, Dean of the College of Computers at Shabwa University, expressed his appreciation, on behalf of the Deanship, faculty, and students of the College of Computers, for the level of care and support provided by the local authority headed by the Governor, Bin Al-Wazir.
A number of department heads at the college and a representative of Capital Security and Computer Solutions participated in the inauguration ceremony, in addition to a number of specialists who praised this important step in developing technical education in the governorate.
