The Security Belt forces, led by Brigadier General Muhammad Ali Al-Hushbi, and with the support of the joint southern units, responded to a violent attack launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi militias on their positions on the Qarin Front, northwest of Al-Musaimeer in Lahj Governorate, at dawn today.
The attack targeted the areas of Al-Adib, Al-Jabali, and Shawkan, which were recently controlled by southern forces. The clashes resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries among the Houthis, while one soldier from the southern forces was injured.
The southern forces responded with intense artillery shelling, destroying Houthi weapons positions, inflicting significant material and human losses on the militias.
