The head of the executive body of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Lahj Governorate, Waddah Nasr Al-Halmi, met today, Thursday, with the governorate’s undersecretary for tribal affairs, Sheikh Abdel Fattah Haitham Ahmed Al-Hujaili.
Al-Halmi praised the efforts made by the governorate’s representative for tribal affairs, Sheikh Al-Hujaili, in order to unify the word, position, and cooperate in addressing many societal issues, stressing the importance of strengthening joint coordination with the Transitional Council to serve citizens and contribute to addressing their issues.
Al-Halmi touched on a number of urgent tasks that must be coordinated between the leadership of the Transitional Council and tribal affairs in the governorate, especially at the current stage, which are all aimed at strengthening the bonds of cooperation to establish security and stability and combat some of the phenomena that are alien to society in Lahj in particular and the south in general..
For his part, the representative of Lahj, the prominent tribal sheikh Abdel Fattah Haitham Ahmed, stressed the keenness and interest of the leadership of Lahj Governorate to strengthen joint work with the leadership of the Transitional Council, especially with regard to tribal affairs, with the aim of unifying efforts to serve society and confront all the challenges created by the nature of the current stage..
During the meeting, which was attended by the Director of the Media Department of the Executive Authority, Ghazi Al-Alawi, many issues and topics of common interest between the leadership of the Transitional Council and the local authority related to tribal affairs were discussed, and ways to address some important issues were discussed.
It is worth noting that Lahj’s agent for tribal affairs, Sheikh Abdel Fattah Haitham Ahmed, is one of the most active agents of the governorate who works in light of the current circumstances among the community, and contributes to addressing many societal issues in many of the governorate’s directorates.
