Aidroos Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice Chairman of the Leadership Council, visited the Aden Center in South Chicago, USA, where he was received by Ahmed Al-Wali, head of the southern community in the state, and leaders and activists of the community.
He inspected the various departments of the Aden Center, viewed its halls and classrooms, and listened to a detailed explanation of the community’s activities through the center and its educational, cultural, and social role in serving the community.
The Aden Center was established after the defeat of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia from the south in 2015, and includes a large hall, classrooms and administrative offices, in addition to a mosque that was opened last year.
The center witnessed many events, including seminars and parties to support our people at home and the bearer of its cause, the Southern Transitional Council. Since its establishment, the center has been interested in education and has had leadership at the level of the Arab communities, as it organized and held monthly events for boys and women to teach the Holy Quran, the Arabic language, mathematics, and computers.< /p>
President Al-Zubaidi expressed his satisfaction with the center’s activity, appreciating the efforts of the community’s leadership and members in establishing the center and its efforts to connect generations with their mother tongue, Islamic traditions, and social customs.
The community in Chicago is expected to organize, this evening, a celebration on the occasion of the visit of President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi and his accompanying delegation.
