Deputy Director of the Aden Capital Security Department, Brigadier General Abu Bakr Jabr, revealed the latest developments in the investigations into the stabbing incident of a girl in Khor Maksar, last Monday.

Brigadier General Jabr confirmed, in a statement published on the official website of the Aden Capital Information Office, that “after conducting the initial investigation with (the perpetrator), the Aden Capital Security Department followed the surveillance cameras present at the site of the incident, and we noticed that when the perpetrator (Tariq Saleh) was present ) At the crime scene while stabbing the victim (Sajaa Muhammad Ahmed Ayyash), the perpetrator attempted to stab two girls before carrying out the crime of stabbing the victim (Sajaa).”

 Brigadier Jabr continued his speech by saying: “When the perpetrator (Tariq) tried to stab two girls before stabbing him (Saja), he did not succeed in doing so. He tried to stab the first girl who was passing by on the same street where the crime occurred, and when he wanted to stab her, she entered.” The grocery store was in the main line, without knowing or feeling that (the perpetrator) was watching her and intending to stab her.”

And he continued: “As for the second girl, the perpetrator (Tariq) tried to approach her and stab her, but, fortunately, she suddenly boarded one of the buses passing on the street, and also without knowing or feeling that (the perpetrator) was watching her and intending to stab her.” And (the perpetrator) failed for the second time to carry out his crime.”

 The Deputy Director of Security of the capital, Aden, indicated, “After that, when the perpetrator (Tariq) noticed the third victim, the victim (Sajaa), walking in the street alone, he carried out his crime by stabbing her several times with a white weapon.”

 Brigadier Jabr revealed that the security was able to find one of the clues in the case by saying: “The security was able to identify the person who, before the stabbing incident of the victim (Sajaa), was close to the perpetrator (Tariq).”..

 Stressing that: “The Aden Capital Security Department will take measures and investigate that person.”

The Deputy Director of the Aden Capital Security Department, Brigadier General Abu Bakr Jabr, concluded his statement by saying: “The results of the investigation will be fully announced after the completion of all investigations.”
