The Masam Project to clear Yemeni lands of mines was able to remove more than 1,384 mines during the fourth week of September 2024.
The Masam Project said that the removed mines included two anti-personnel mines, 6 anti-tank mines, and 1,375 ammunition. An unexploded explosive device.
He explained that the number of mines removed since the beginning of the “Masam” project until now has reached 463,673 mines, which were planted randomly in various governorates to claim more innocent victims, including children, women, and the elderly.
