Al-Arish neighborhoods in Khor Maksar District in the city of Aden have witnessed a noticeable spread of cholera over the past few days, amid growing fears of a wider spread of the epidemic.

According to the testimonies of residents of the area, many families suffer from severe diarrhea and other symptoms associated with the disease.

The people pointed to the absence of necessary health services, as well as the lack of clean water, which contributed to the increase in the number of infections.

They called on health authorities and local authorities to quickly intervene to limit the spread of the disease and provide the necessary health care to those infected.
