Today, the police of the Shehn Directorate in Al-Mahra Governorate seized quantities of ground qat in a carton on board a car as it was starting to move and leave outside the country after coming from neighboring governorates under the leadership of the driver (N.A.A.A.F). 

The Deputy Director of Security of the Shipping Police, Dr. Rashid Al-Salahi, explained that the cartons appeared to appear to be baby formula, and after inspection it became clear that they contained inside bags loaded with quantities of khat, tightly prepared and in special laboratories, camouflaging them by saying that the raw material inside them differed from what was registered on those bags. . 

Al-Salahi indicated that the criminal investigation officers of the Shehn Directorate carried out the seizure of this quantity after careful follow-up, monitoring and monitoring, which led to its seizure and under the supervision of the Director General of Al-Mahra Police, Brigadier General Mufti Suhail Samouda and his deputy, Brigadier General Ahmed Ali Raafit. 

Al-Salahi pointed out that preliminary information indicates that this substance was on its way to neighboring countries, which is classified on the list of prohibited drugs and drugs according to their regulations and laws, indicating that the directive of Brigadier General Mufti Samouda, Director of Security in the governorate, stipulated that the seized quantities be seized and comprehensive samples of the substances be examined. The quantity and taking measures with everyone related to it in preparation for referring it to the competent authorities, which weighs half a ton, while the stage of collecting evidence in the incident is underway to uncover the source of those quantities and arrest those proven to be linked to smuggling and promoting these quantities to neighboring sister countries.
