Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, President of the Transitional Council, Major General Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, concluded his visit to the United States of America

Al-Zubaidi said in a post on the “X” platform, “I conclude my visit to the United States with gratitude after attending the 79th United Nations General Assembly meeting with my colleagues in the Palestinian Legislative Council, and communicating separately with our community in South Yemen in America.”

He added: "It was an important visit as it demonstrated the need for a comprehensive approach to promoting peace and stability in our country and the region." He noted in another post that he had “concluded his visit to the United States of America with his colleagues in the Presidential Leadership Council to participate in the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, as well as on a separate tour to meet with our southern communities there.”

He stressed that “it was a fruitful participation, filled with many public and bilateral meetings, during which they stressed our need to find a comprehensive strategy that guarantees reaching a just and sustainable peace in our country and the region.”
