On the sidelines of the 57th session of the Human Rights Council, today, Saturday, in the United Nations Square in Geneva, Switzerland, the Human Rights League organized a video exhibition documenting the crimes and violations of the terrorist Houthi militias, supported by the Iranian regime, against the Yemeni people.
The exhibition contained dozens of photos documenting the images and numbers of victims, and revealing the scale of the Houthi militia’s crimes, for which Yemenis will pay for several years to come.
The exhibition aims to remind the world that the Houthi militias planted more than two million mines in various governorates, turning Yemen into the largest minefield ever.
The Humanitarian League stated in a statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that the Houthi militias did not adhere to the ban on landmines and that civilians pay the price on a daily basis... stressing the need to accelerate the removal of landmines to save civilians, and to pressure the militias to hand over maps. Mines that I planted during the past ten years.
The statement stressed that peace efforts must begin with the removal of mines, explosive devices, and remnants of war, which are the most prominent daily dangers facing civilians, planted by the Houthi militias, which claimed the lives of thousands of civilians, dead and wounded. These are crimes and behaviors that contradict all laws, moral and humanitarian values, and laws. International and human rights.
