This Monday morning, the Director of Security of the Free Zone in the capital, Aden, Brigadier General Jamal Dayan, met with the Chairman of the General Authority for Land Transport Affairs, Mr. Fares Shafal, in his office, to discuss and discuss ways of cooperation and joint coordination and the arrangements being made to regulate land transport movement in the container port.< /p>
The meeting discussed the role of the security services in assisting the Authority’s employees to organize transport movement in the container port and regularize commercial movement.
The problems and difficulties facing the authority’s work in the port were also discussed during the meeting, and the importance of continuing to operate normally, which would overcome the difficulties faced by the commercial movement, which constitutes a major national economic tributary to the country.
Shafal extended his thanks and appreciation to Brigadier General Jamal Dayan for all the efforts made by him and by all the free zone security officers and personnel in order to maintain security and safety in the port and solve the problems that obstruct the work of all parties working in the port, including the Authority.
For his part, the Director of Free Zone Security praised the Authority’s role and work in organizing transportation affairs in the port, stressing that Free Zone Security works to facilitate and secure all procedures related to the transactions of merchants, shipping companies, and clearers inside the port, organizing the work of trucks, and inspecting containers in joint cooperation with all working parties.
