Based on direct instructions from the governorate’s security director, security forces in Abyan were able to arrest the person accused of assaulting a student on the campus of the May 22 School in Zanzibar. This came after the governorate security command received a complaint from the school principal this morning.

A few hours after submitting the complaint, the security forces arrested the so-called (S.A.H.A) and he was transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department to take the appropriate legal procedures.

The administration praised the fruitful cooperation between the school and parents in submitting reports and providing the necessary information, which contributes to enhancing security and stability in the governorate.

This operation comes within the framework of the ongoing efforts of the security forces in Abyan to maintain order and protect the rights of students and workers in educational institutions from any threat or infringement, while emphasizing that anyone who violates the law will be held accountable in accordance with the applicable legal procedures.
