The Minister of State and Governor of the capital, Aden, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, today, Tuesday, directed the disbursement of two months’ salary to education contractors in the capital, during his meeting with the Director of the Education Office, Dr. Nawal Jawad, and the heads of divisions and directors of education office departments in the directorates.
p>During the meeting, which was attended by the governorate’s deputy for education affairs, Awad Mubjar, Lamlas affirmed that the local authority would continue its efforts with the government regarding resolving teachers’ issues and settling their conditions in accordance with law and order.
The meeting discussed the most prominent problems and challenges facing the educational sector, most notably the shortage of educational staff, delayed disbursement of salaries, and weak school infrastructure, in addition to possible mechanisms to correct the course of the educational process in the capital, Aden, and improve its reality for the better.
The meeting came out with a number of recommendations, the most important of which is the emphasis on continuing efforts by everyone to resolve all teacher issues, develop the educational process, and the necessity of coordination between the Office of Education and local authorities in the directorates to organize work, and adherence to the system, law and regulations in the actions taken.
