The Russian Embassy in Yemen announced the opening of registration for its scholarships offered to Yemeni students for the academic year 2025, in a step that most students are eagerly awaiting.
The embassy said, in a tweet on its account on the “X” platform: “We announce the start of the process of receiving applications from Yemeni students applying for scholarships for the academic year 2025-2026, starting from October 7, 2024 until January 15, 2025.”
She added that “the registration process and its steps are available in the information system located at the link below, which includes “filling out the application form, uploading a copy (pdf) of the original scanned passport, an identical copy of the original education document obtained, and passing the qualifying exams.” Successfully at the embassy, in addition to obtaining an invitation from a Russian university to study and apply for a study visa.”
The embassy clarified that the scholarships provided include only study costs. Including the year of preparatory language, in addition to student housing at a nominal fee. The rest of the costs, including living, visa, fees for attesting educational certificates at the Russian consulate, travel costs, health insurance, and other costs on Russian or Yemeni territory, are at the student’s expense.
