The Minister of State and Governor of Aden Governorate, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, today, along with the Director General of Sheikh Othman District, Dr. Wissam Muawiyah, inaugurated a number of investment program projects for the current year 2024 in the district.
During the opening, Lamlas stressed the importance of continuing work to improve basic services and meet the needs of citizens... stressing the necessity of developing the infrastructure in Sheikh Othman and all the directorates... praising in this context the efforts made by the local authority in the directorate in organizing the work, and its keenness Continuing coordination with government and community agencies to implement these projects.
While chairing a meeting of the local council in the district, Lamlas listened to a comprehensive explanation of the series of works carried out in the education sector, which included making canopies for Al-Farouq schools in Al-Mamdara and Khaled Haidar, and paving the courtyards of Al-Nahda Secondary Schools and Al-Abadi Schools with Interlock, in addition to projects in the works sector. General, which included the project of paving the opening of the neighborhoods of Al-Sila, and the street next to the Zayed Hotel, and making the asphalt layer behind the municipality on Al-Dhahab Street, and rehabilitating the sewage network for the Al-Jazeera neighborhood, while the projects of the local administration sector included making a canopy and fixed seats for the square located in front of the Civil Status Office, And rehabilitating the front facade of the local council building and the notary office building.
The governor also reviewed the projects being implemented, which include paving stones for the street extending from Othman Abdo High School to Farzat Al-Sabiha, creating an outlet in the C and Al-Sila section opposite Al-Qadi Mosque, paving part of the street, and constructing a building for the Aden Unity Club, the first phase.
The director of Sheikh Othman Directorate confirmed that work to serve the directorate and the local community is moving forward in accordance with the law, order, and the strategy of the local authority in the governorate. He appreciated Governor Lamlas’s visit to the local council building, his inauguration of projects, and his support for the local authority in the directorate.
