The Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen Mohammed Al-Daari, met today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Yemen, Bong Kae-do.

The meeting touched on a number of issues of common interest, including efforts to strengthen maritime security in light of the Houthi terrorist militia’s continued targeting of commercial ships and shipping routes in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

Lieutenant General Al-Daari stressed the importance of supporting the capabilities of the armed forces to enable them to carry out their duties in imposing security, securing international trade routes, and completing the restoration of state institutions.

The meeting was attended by the head of the Intelligence and Reconnaissance Authority, Major General Ahmed Mohsen Al-Yafei, and our country’s military attaché in Riyadh, Brigadier General Yahya Al-Wael.
