The local authority in Sayhut District issued, today, Tuesday, a circular regarding Executive Office Resolution No. (4) in Al-Mahra Governorate for the year 2024 AD, which stipulates prohibiting the use of bottom dredging methods (cartridges and others) for traditional fishing within the geographical scope of the district.
The circular was based on the decision of the Governor of Al-Mahra Governorate regarding the outcomes of the first regular meeting of the Executive Office in the Governorate, held on August 18, 2024 AD, which included prohibiting the use of bottom dredging methods for traditional fishing.
