The Governor of Lahj Governorate, Major General Ahmed Turki, today, Thursday, and with him the Director General of Police in the governorate, Brigadier General Nasser Al-Shouhti, inaugurated a campaign to number cars in the three categories of private, transport, and taxi, with the metal plates for the new version.
At the inauguration, which was attended by the Director of the Transport Office, Badie Al-Qutaybi, the Director of the Governorate Traffic Police, Colonel Qahtan Al-Hadawi, and the Director of Al-Houta Directorate, Sami Al-Jabali, Governor Turki explained that the new metal license plates for numbering cars were designed with high-quality technical and security specifications, and in accordance with international standards. To reduce criminal acts that occur using unidentified cars...praising the great efforts made by traffic police...stressing the necessity of adhering to the official daily working hours.
Turki confirmed that the leadership of the local authority in the governorate continues to support the security sector in all its formations, in order to enhance the cohesion of the security situation for the safety of society, and protect the nation from those lurking in it.
