Major General Mutahar Al-Shuaibi, Director of Security of the capital, Aden, held a meeting today with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for the Financial and Administrative Sector, Major General Qaid Atef, and the Director of the Civil Status Authority, Major General Sanad Jameel, to discuss the launch of the issuance of the smart card for police personnel.

The meeting discussed mechanisms for facilitating data entry and smart card extraction procedures, which aim to improve security performance and control job duplication. Major General Atef confirmed that the project aims to modernize civil status systems, while Major General Al-Shuaibi indicated that this step will contribute to developing administrative work and enhancing security.
