Engineer Najwan Ahmed Saeed, project manager, said that the technical teams affiliated with Al-Khudairi General Contracting Company, implementing the first section of the project, are nearing completion of the road bed layer (Subgrade) work for the project to complete and construct the Aqabat Khalq Road in the Halimin District in Lahj Governorate.

The project manager indicated that the work is progressing well, as the road bed layer for all stations of the first section is now being completed. He also added that preparations are being made to lay the road base layer soon.

These works are being implemented with the funding and supervision of the Roads and Bridges Maintenance Fund, the main center in the capital, Aden, and under the directives of the Ministry of Public Works and Roads. 

Aqabat Khalq Road is considered one of the prominent roads in Lahj Governorate, as it was in urgent need of construction and maintenance to facilitate the movement of citizens and promote the development of various areas of life in the region.
