Journalist Saleh Al-Nakhibi, political program preparer for the Independent Aden Channel affiliated with the Southern Transitional Council, died this evening, days after he was admitted to intensive care in a hospital in the capital, Aden, as a result of complications from heart disease.
Al-Nakhibi was a prominent writer and political activist. He was known as one of the most sincere southern activists for many years, as he devoted his pen and time to defending the issues of the South and its people. The voter was a patient and courageous personality. He chanted in the name of the South in social sites and arenas of struggle. He believed in his rights and did not despair or tire for a moment.
His fellow media professionals mourned him in touching terms on social media, expressing their sadness at the loss of a figure who was a symbol of struggle and dedication to serving the nation’s causes.
