6 people were killed and 7 others were injured, today, Saturday, in a horrific traffic accident that occurred in the Bir Omar area after Al-Fayyoush in Lahj Governorate.

Eyewitnesses said that the cause of the accident was a speeding vehicle colliding with a bus that was carrying people from the same family, in addition to children who were on the road selling some products who were injured in the accident.

Witnesses explained that the injured were taken to the hospital, while the bodies of the victims were transferred to the morgue.

The witnesses confirmed that the accident occurred as a result of excessive speed and inattention, calling on the competent authorities to take strict measures to control traffic violations and prevent such accidents from occurring.
