6 people were killed and 7 others were injured, today, Wednesday, in a horrific traffic accident that occurred in the Fayoush area in Lahj Governorate.

Local sources said that the cause of the accident was a speeding military vehicle colliding with a microbus (tank) that was carrying people from the same family, in addition to people who were standing on the side of the road.

The sources explained that the injured were taken to the hospital, while the bodies of the victims were transferred to the morgue.

The witnesses confirmed that the accident occurred as a result of excessive speed and inattention, calling on the competent authorities to take strict measures to control traffic violations and prevent such accidents from occurring.
