The Governor of Al-Mahra, Muhammad Ali Yasser, met today with the Community Awareness Committee to Combat Indiscriminate Hunting, headed by Sheikh Rashid Ali Yashoul. 

During the meeting, the governor stressed his support for official and community efforts to protect fish stocks from depletion. He also discussed the level of implementation of the decision to prevent bulldozing and random fishing, and the obstacles facing this implementation.

The meeting was attended by a number of officials, where a report was presented on the measures taken to combat violations, emphasizing the importance of intensifying awareness campaigns and coordination between the concerned authorities to effectively confront indiscriminate fishing.
