The Office of Social Affairs and Labor in Taiz Governorate, today, Wednesday, called on the governorate’s police department to take urgent measures against the so-called Taiz Merchants Forum “Taiz Merchants’ Bloc” for violating the applicable laws and regulations.

A memorandum from the Office of Social Affairs and Labor, addressed to the Director of the Governorate Police, Brigadier General Mansour Al-Akhali, included a request to direct the security services to arrest those in charge of the illegal and law-breaking entity called the Taiz Merchants Forum. 

I also demanded that they be obliged not to engage in violating activity, based on the directives of the governor of the governorate and the legal opinion of the Legal Affairs Office, which included not approving this forum due to its violation of the law and the illegality of the announcement ceremony.

It was stated that those responsible for it were informed that they violated the law and transgressed by working outside the applicable laws, but they are still carrying out their activity without stopping or adhering to the directives.
