As part of the early preparations for the Hajj season 1446 AH, the Undersecretary of the Hajj and Umrah Sector at the Ministry of Endowments and Guidance, Dr. Mukhtar bin Al-Khader Al-Haythami, discussed today, with Yemeni Airlines officials, ways of cooperation and joint coordination to serve the pilgrims of the Holy House of God.
Dr. Al-Haythami expressed his thanks for the efforts of the Yemenia Airlines administration in transporting the guests of God, despite the difficult circumstances that the country is going through, and stressed the importance of strengthening the partnership between the ministry and Yemen Airways, the official national carrier.
For his part, Captain Nasser Mahmoud Qasim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yemen Airways, stressed the importance of early meetings to avoid any shortcomings in transporting pilgrims. It was agreed to determine the initial number of pilgrims to be transported, and meetings were held between specialists to discuss the details and a timetable consistent with housing the pilgrims in hotels in the Holy Land.
The initial timetable for transporting pilgrims was also reviewed, emphasizing the importance of developing alternative plans to confront any developments.
The observations of the Saudi side and the obstacles that the two parties faced in the previous season were discussed, with the aim of developing appropriate solutions early.
The meeting was attended by a number of officials from both sides, which reflects the commitment of the ministry and the airline to provide the best services to pilgrims.
