The University of Science and Technology - Aden Main Center ranked first among Yemeni universities in the QS World Classification of Arab Universities for the year 2025.
It is noteworthy that the QS World University Rankings is an annual classification for evaluating universities, issued by the British Quacquarellu Symonds Foundation, which specializes in the field of education. The first version of this classification was issued in 2004.
The QS classification is based on six factors in evaluating universities, which are: academic reputation (40%), reputation in the field of graduate employment (10%), the ratio of professors to students (20%), the ratio of research citations to the number of faculty members ( 20%), the percentage of international faculty members (5%), the percentage of international students at the university (5%).
It is worth noting that this new classification of the University of Science and Technology - Aden Main Center, once again confirms the university’s superiority, as the university has previously topped a number of international evaluations at the level of Yemen, which is considered a culmination of the university’s continuous efforts towards leadership and excellence.
