Engineer Moeen Muhammad Al-Mas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Road Maintenance Fund, inaugurated the work of unloading excess and illegal loads at the weighing station at the iron factory in Al-Waht Triangle, Tur Al-Baha, Lahj Governorate. This inauguration comes within the framework of the Fund’s efforts within the directives of the presidential leadership to supervise weighing stations in the liberated governorates.
The Road Fund aims to protect roads from damage caused by excessive loads of heavy trucks, as the focus is on the road passing through Al-Waht Tur Al-Baha to control the excessive weights of freight vehicles in accordance with the law.
Engineer Moeen Al-Mas directly supervised the start of the work of the station’s technical team and the procedures for controlling the excess weights of the violating loads. This inauguration was attended by the general directors of the Roads and Bridges Maintenance Fund from the main center in the capital, Aden.
Almas stressed the need to work according to the specific procedures followed in the rest of the stations, while providing awareness to truck drivers about the necessity of adhering to the legally specified weight
Engineer Moeen Al-Mas confirmed that the Fund’s efforts will continue to achieve future goals and visions in finding sustainable and safe roads, which contributes to serving citizens and enhancing the nation’s development without the need to spend huge budgets on recurring maintenance projects.
