The security authorities in the Hays District, south of Hodeidah Governorate, announced the arrest of two accused of murder and burning the victim’s body twenty-four hours after it was committed.

A security source said that the Hais police launched a security campaign after receiving a report stating that the body of a citizen named Munir Hassan Ahmed had been hidden and killed, and that the campaign arrested the accused after investigations and gathering extensive information.

The source confirmed that the victim’s body was transferred to Al-Mokha Hospital, while the accused were placed in prison in preparation for their referral to the competent authorities.
