Tribes, sheikhs, notables, local and transitional authorities, the administration of the Endowments Office and the Public Works Administration in the Rasd Directorate, academic and educational figures, judges, clerics, imams and mosque preachers from the people of Al-Saadi’s office and the Rasd and Yafa’ Directorate in Abyan Governorate clashed over the repercussions of establishing a Salafist religious center in the Mukail area in the office of Al-Saadi Yafa’ and in a simple meeting. Familiarity, brotherhood, and consultation by those present. The meeting came out with the following statement:

The Arima area in Al-Saadi’s office in the Abyan Governorate Monitoring Directorate witnessed a consultative meeting this evening, Thursday, October 24, 2024 AD, for members of Al-Saadi’s office, regarding the repercussions of establishing a religious institute in the Makil Shaab Al-Bari’ area in Al-Saadi’s office, attended by the head of the Transitional Council in the Monitoring Directorate, Brother Ahmed Awad Al-Saadi and the judge. Abdullah is famous and a representative of Sheikh Afif Al-Amoudi, sheikh of the sheikhs of the Al-Saadi office, brother Khaled Abdullah Al-Amoudi, and Mr. Mahmoud Abdul-Rab Al-Muqfai, member of the National Assembly and members of the local council, Yafa District, Mr. Mohsen Al-Walani, Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Harbi, and a number of people from the Saadi areas and a number of people from neighboring areas.
In the meeting, the attendees discussed the repercussions of establishing the religious center in the Makiel area in Al-Saadi’s office, and the meeting concluded as follows:
First: The meeting calls on the sheikhs and students of Sharia sciences from the people of Yafa’ to follow the Book of God and the Sunnah of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, and not to be drawn after people or religious authorities that seek to sow discord among the members of society.
Secondly: Those attending the meeting expressed their fear of establishing this center in the region at a time when there is no stability at the country level, and so that our region would not be targeted for sowing strife and disagreements, while rejecting its establishment at the present time.
Second: Referring the issue of establishing the center to the local and transitional authorities, involving the higher authorities in this, and asking the relevant authorities to stop the work.
