Aden Governorate witnessed, since dawn today, heavy rain that affected a number of districts and continued until the morning hours, as a result of it being affected by a strong air depression.

The Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center at the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology confirmed that the numerical forecast outputs indicate that the governorate will continue to be affected by thunderstorms of varying intensity and strong winds during the next 48 hours.

In a statement issued by it, the center called on citizens in Aden to be careful during these weather conditions, stressing the need not to approach electricity poles, billboards, and trees, and to turn off mobile phones during thunderstorms in order to preserve safety.
