The emergency humanitarian response plan in Yemen has received new support from several countries, with OCHA receiving an additional $70 million over the past week.
This support is thanks to contributions from the United States, Qatar, Norway and other donor countries.
Despite this progress, the response plan still suffers from a severe lack of funding, as only less than half of the required amount has been covered.
Experts warn that the continuation of this funding gap may negatively affect millions of Yemenis who are suffering from a severe humanitarian crisis.
