The users asked the company (Yemen Net) in Sanaa, and its branches in Al-Houta and Taban, to explain the reasons and quickly address the problem that hindered them from completing their work and prevented them from using the “acceptable” service.
According to the users, who include network and communications engineers, the terrestrial Internet service in Lahj (DSL) is considered the worst and worst in Yemen, as the service is affected by the mere blowing of light winds, or the falling of raindrops, in addition to the strange contradiction and dissonance between the electricity and Internet services. If the first is present, the second is absent, and vice versa.

Even today, not to mention that the lack of Internet points has put thousands of citizens on waiting lists in the hope that it will be their turn to obtain an Internet point, which has contributed to the deterioration of the service, in addition to the obsolescence of the network’s lines and components and its lack of regular maintenance, which, if completed, would paralyze entire neighborhoods. For days.
The citizens of Lahj Governorate hope that the internationally recognized government will reduce the prices of (Star Link) packages so that their prolonged suffering will end and they will be liberated from “Yemen Net”, which has exhausted their pockets with a fake service - and the “lack of internet points” and their submission, if available, to brokerage - also contributed to the The spread of local Internet networks that also trade in services in a highly exploitative manner and earn huge sums of money in exchange for a fake service that does not perform any work.
