The “Houra” area in Wadi Al-Ain District witnessed a new tragedy today, as the collapse of a popular house for unknown reasons led to the death of 4 people, including 3 women and a child, while two other children were injured. They were given first aid and are in stable condition.
In a quick response, the Governor of Hadhramaut, Mr. Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, today, Friday, made an inspection visit to the area, where he saw the damage to the dilapidated house. During the visit, the governor, accompanied by the Director General of Wadi Al-Ain Directorate, Houra Salem bin Abadin Bawazir, and the leadership of the local authority, offered warm condolences to the family of the house owner, Brother Mubarak Dhaif Baghraib, expressing their support for them in this painful tragedy.
The governor stressed the local authority’s keenness to support the affected family, as he directed that temporary housing be provided for them and that a house be rented urgently. He also stressed the need to follow up on the damage to the house and submit technical reports to determine the causes of the collapse, in addition to his directives to rebuild the destroyed house as quickly as possible.
These steps come within the framework of the local authority’s efforts to provide support and assistance to those affected and work to improve their conditions after the tragic accident.
