The Environmental Health Department of the Public Works and Roads Office in the Mansoura District in the capital, Aden, destroyed (5) tons of expired food supplies that are unfit for human consumption.
During the destruction process - which took place in the Bir Al-Naama landfill, after completing the necessary legal procedures, and based on the directives of the Director General of Mansoura, Ahmed Ali Al-Daoudi - the Director of the Directorate’s Works Office, Engineer Raafat Rashid Kokni, explained that the destroyed quantity, in the presence of the head of the department, Hassan Al-Shaabi, and his deputy Mahmoud Al-Muflhi, consisting of expired soft drinks and cheeses unfit for human use as a result of poor storage, were seized after they were recently seized by the office’s Environmental Health Department.
