The engineering teams of the National Mine Center "Masam" succeeded in removing five anti-tank mines planted by the terrorist Houthi militia in sheep pastures in Wadi "Sila" in the Hays District, south of Hodeidah Governorate.
An official source at the National Mine Center "Masam" explained that the center's field engineering teams were able during the past few days to discover and dismantle these mines that were randomly planted by the Houthi militias in pastures, which poses a direct threat to the lives of civilians, especially shepherds and their sheep.
p>The source indicated that these mines are of the anti-tank type, and are highly explosive and capable of destroying heavy machinery, stressing that planting them on pastures is a war crime targeting innocent civilians.
The source called on the international community to put pressure on the terrorist Houthi militia to reveal maps of mines that it planted in various Yemeni governorates, and to bring the perpetrators of these crimes to justice.
