In a new step within the efforts to combat drugs, the Narcotics Control Department in Lahj Governorate was able to arrest a person accused of promoting and selling drugs after a court case.
The Director of the Narcotics Control Department in Lahj, Abdul Hadi Ali Abdullah Faraj, revealed that this qualitative operation represents an important success in confronting this scourge that threatens society, as the spread and promotion of drugs has become a threat to public health and increases crime rates.< /p>
Faraj added that we tracked and monitored the movements of one of the suspects named (J, N, L) in the city of Al-Houta, after which we were able to arrest him in a successful security operation. He pointed out that, in conjunction with the arrest operation, we raided a pharmacy suspected of Illegally selling and distributing narcotic pills. Quantities of narcotic pills were found in the pharmacy, which confirmed suspicions of its involvement in illicit trafficking.
Faraj explained that we are striving to intensify our efforts in tracking down drug dealers and drug dealers, including directing strong strikes at dealers who use illegal means such as pharmacies to sell these dangerous substances. He stressed that confronting these crimes will not stop, but rather their operations will continue to ensure the safety of society and protect it from the destructive effects of drugs.
