The community and youth sector concluded today, Sunday, in the capital, Aden, the capacity building program for community and youth initiatives, the second phase.
The goal of the program, which lasted for a full month, was to build the capabilities of community and youth initiatives in the fields of: gender, development and the environment, and to enhance their capabilities to prepare and implement environmental projects and activities.
100 participants from community and youth initiatives participated in the program, and the program covered three main axes: development, environment, designing projects built on the green environment, and gender.
At the conclusion of the program, the participants praised the distinguished training content and expert trainers, and expressed their thanks to the National Network for Community and Youth Initiatives for organizing this important program.
For his part, the Executive Director of the National Network for Community and Youth Initiatives, Mohsen Hassan, confirmed that the program aims to enhance the capabilities of community and youth initiatives in various fields, and provide them with the necessary skills to contribute to community development.
Hassan added that the network is working to implement a group of other programs and projects that aim to support youth initiatives in various fields, such as: writing project proposals, writing reports, and decision-making.
The second phase of the Community and Youth Initiatives Capacity Building Program aims to build the capacities of community and youth initiatives in the field of management, leadership, technical skills, and communication, enhancing the participants’ abilities to prepare and implement community projects and activities, and enabling participants to contribute to community development.
