The Coast Guard Service in the Socotra Archipelago announced the loss of a fishing boat off the coast of the governorate.
A circular issued by the Director of the Coast Guard, Saeed Ahmed Muhammad Ali, said that a boat carrying fishermen from the Ras Arsal area went missing on Monday evening.
He indicated that the fishermen set off on their sea voyage at four in the afternoon on Monday, October 28, 2024, and they have not been found or on the boat until today.
He confirmed that the fishermen are: Sami Muhammad Ali and Issa Saber Abdullah, adding that the type of boat is “Mushan Bushandah” and its color is blue.
