A horrific vehicle collision incident that occurred on an archers' shipping line in the Mahrah Governorate's shipping area claimed the lives of 11 people and injured two others, while material losses amounted to 10 million riyals, according to initial estimates.
According to initial reports about the incident that occurred between a tipper and a locomotive, the tipper’s entry into the line and path of the locomotive caused the unfortunate accident that claimed the lives of 13 people, including dead and injured, most of them workers who were on the back of the tipper on their way to work.
The security media publishes the names of the deceased victims:
1- Nassar Ahmed Yahya Hadash, 34 years old, from Al Bayda Governorate (Radaa).
2- Muhib Al-Subaihi, 30 years old, from Lahj Governorate (Mudaraba).
3- Mufaddal Abu Hadid Yassin, 26 years old, Al Bayda Governorate (Radaa).
4- Adeeb Nasser Ahmed Saleh, 27 years old, from Al Bayda Governorate (Radaa).
5- Hani Hadi Ahmed Al-Huwaimel, 33 years old, from Hadramaut Governorate (Sayun Tarim).
6- Najeeb Ahmed Qasim Al-Subaihi, 32 years old, from Lahj Governorate (Al-Mudaraba).
7- Radfan Musad Yahya Hadash, 26 years old, from Al-Bayda Governorate (Radaa).
8- Muhammad Ahmad Ahmad Al-Khawani, 26 years old, Al-Bayda (Radaa).
9- Ghassan Ahmed Saleh Muhammad Al-Habrani, 26 years old, from Lahj Governorate.
In addition to two unknown people as of writing, one of whom is a 26-year-old young man.
While two other people were injured, their condition was described as serious: Wadah (42 years old) and Mukhtar Muhammad Abdullah (40 years old), the drivers of the dumper and the locomotive.
