Dr. Nasser Al-Mallan, a consultant kidney and urology surgeon, and his medical team succeeded in performing a delicate surgery to remove the prostate gland for a 95-year-old patient, who was suffering from recurrent urinary obstruction due to an enlarged prostate.
After making the necessary preparations, the gland, which was 650 grams in size, was removed in a delicate surgery aimed at improving the patient’s quality of life and alleviating his suffering.
