In a tragic accident that occurred today near the Al-Jahil area, east of the city of Tarim, yesterday evening, Friday, a locomotive loaded with diesel overturned, leading to the immediate death of its driver. The driver’s companion also sustained several fractures, and was transferred to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment.< /p>

Local sources reported that the accident occurred as a result of the loss of control of the locomotive while crossing a narrow road, which led to it overturning and spilling part of the load. Ambulance teams rushed to the site of the accident, where they provided first aid to the injured person and transported him to the hospital in Tarim.

The sources said that, so far, there have been no official reports about the cause of the accident, while the concerned authorities are calling for caution and to follow road safety procedures, especially with the increase in traffic accidents in the region.
