Dr. Salah Yahya Al-Shoubji, Director General of Al-Buraiqa and Head of the Local Council, said that the random construction that took place during the past years in flood channels, especially in Wadi Al-Kabir in Al-Haswah, represents a real disaster, indicating that there is a committee assigned by the Governor of the capital to address this file and will take measures. This came during his chairmanship on Monday, in the General Office of the Directorate, of the regular meeting of the Executive Office for the month of October 2023, in the presence of the directors of offices and departments (members of the office). At the beginning of his speech, he welcomed all those present, and praised the efforts of everyone in working to serve the Directorate and citizens and carry out tasks. entrusted to them, stressing that the most prominent offices will be honored, most notably the Transport Office and the Cleaning and Improvement Fund.

At the meeting, the previous minutes were reviewed, the level of implementation of decisions and assignments was reviewed and approved, and the financial report was heard from Mr. Tariq Mahdi, Director of the Finance Office, which witnessed a noticeable improvement in raising the percentage of revenues.

Al-Shoubji confirmed that the directorate will soon witness the implementation and announcement of a package of projects of importance and need in various sectors, in translation of the directives of His Excellency the Minister of State and Governor of the Capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas.

The Director General of the Directorate praised the vigilance of the security services and the implementation of the tasks assigned to them, congratulating the achievements achieved, the latest of which was the arrest of a gang that specialized in stealing cables from the main electricity line by the security belt in the first sector, stressing that those involved in this crime will receive a deterrent punishment.

The Director General of the Directorate, Head of the Executive Office, heard from the directors of offices and departments about the progress of work, and the proposals and solutions to the most important problems and negatives that accompanied the progress of work during the past period, stressing the necessity of joining efforts and working with dedication and one team spirit to accomplish tasks and improve the level of performance and public services.
